Get Real - The Game Has Changed

Real World Endo has embraced as a new theme the phrase "The Game has Changed." We absolutely believe this to be true and we believe it so for a number of reasons. The first was the introduction of the EndoSequence file, and its associated system, which increased efficiency dramatically and now, with the introduction of BC Sealer, we have finally closed the circle. The circle is the Endo-Restorative Continuum. By finally developing an honest to goodness non resorbable sealer, that allows us to do a true one cone technique, we have significantly changed obturation. (Dr. Nasseh video on Bioceramic Technology) The final piece of the puzzle (the last 90 degrees so to speak) has been closed by having a post technique that requires no drilling and no burning out of the gutta percha. (Dr. Nasseh video on Post Preparation) After fitting the post, simply cut the gutta percha cone at the level which you want it to remain in the canal. For example, if you want to keep a 7 mm. plug of gutta percha in the apical part of the canal, cut the cone at the 7 mm mark and then place your BC Sealer into the canal. Following this, also coat the 7 mm section of gutta percha with the sealer and place into the canal. Now use the severed portion of the gutta percha cone as a condenser and push the apical plug all the way to its terminus (maintaining the original reference point). Simple. The reason this works so well is twofold. 1) The gutta percha cone is synchronized to precisely fit the preparation and 2) the physical properties of the bioceramic sealer allow it to act as a fabulous lubricant, as well as a bonded sealer. If for some reason the apical plug doesn't reach its intended length, simply use the .04 taper condenser, that comes with the post kit, to manipulate the apical plug to its final position. (Please view Dr. Nasseh's video.) But think what you have just accomplished. We have closed the Endo-Restorative Circle and we've done it in a simple, inexpensive way. Literally, we have changed the game in how a root canal can be accomplished.

In addition, by now offering free endodontic CE we've changed the game in how continuing education is delivered. Within the parameters of the current economy, no one (or at the most, very few) has any interest in paying a large fee for an endodontic course. Furthermore, in the past, endodontic continuing education has defied the laws of economics. Think about it. You're asking a dentist to take a day off from work, then pay a tuition fee for a course, and then sit for six hours with the ultimate goal being that hopefully they see the light. It makes no sense; it defies economic reason. This is especially true for company sponsored speakers and courses. Anyway, free continuing dental education makes sense and its time has come. The exception to this rule are schools and those dental societies / laboratories that need to cover their expenses. Clearly, education should be a service to the dental community and must seen by dental manufacturers as a value added entity.

Finally, let us say that the time is now to learn how to do endodontics efficiently and in a superb manner. The days of the 60K dollar treatment plan are over. These patients are not walking into your office tomorrow morning. Nationwide, dentists want practical , pragmatic continuing dental education and patients want to save their teeth. The game has changed and Real World Endo will remain ahead of the curve.

Simply put - Get Real.
